As a result of consistent growth, my Ayr based client are looking to expand their IT team by creating a brand new IT technician role - the ideal opportunity for a recent IT graduate ready to begin their career.The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing IT support across 3 UK sites, working with a team responsible for ensuring high performance and security for the company's network.Key responsibilities:Support IT functions of all departments - supporting Microsoft Office applications, Sage and other softwares.Company's IT helpdesk, dealing with tickets and issues raisedProviding users with IT trainingHelp support servers, workstations, printers, desk and mobile phones and other network devicesFor this role, the ideal candidate MUST be:A recent graduate in IT related disciplineAble to provide a high level of customer serviceExperienced to a working level in virtualisation environments (VMware)Experienced with key networking and security concepts (DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN etc.)Experienced in Microsoft Exchange (O365)The ideal candidate must also have a full clean driving licence as travel to other UK sites is expected.For the right candidate, my client can offer in exchange a competitive salary, a contributory pension scheme among other benefits.If you have all of the necessary skills and experience please apply or contact Lucy Paterson directly on 0131 558 4815.
