Security Architect - 3 months - Canary wharf - My client, a multinational technology company, is looking for a Security Architect to join them on a 3-month contract based in Canary WharfRole responsibilities The successful candidate will be expected to provide technical design recommendations with focus on improving the customer risk position and security maturityPropose improvements for Qualys, Skybox Security vulnerability scanning and improvements to software patching schedule ensuring protection and compliance of critical assets.You will also be expected to improve the cyber threat level by investigating historic and active vulnerabilities and develop an "end to end" map of an adversary's infrastructure and remediation suggestions.Liaise with 3rd party supplier and vendors to coordinate corrective or preventative actions where necessary.Provide technical design recommendations with a focus on improving the customer risk position and security maturityKey skills You must have the ability to quickly understand large enterprise level architecture security threats, risks and exposuresKnowledge of NIST and other Cyber Security FrameworkExcellent understanding of SIEM solutionsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsYou must have a good understanding and experience of IT and Security Governance, Security Risk threat assessment and vulnerability management ideally using QualysKnowledge of industry technologies and software emerging threats / vulnerabilities
