Huxley Engineering and a EURBn Global House-hold Name in Product Design & Innovation are looking to recruit a Development & Test Engineer for their Engineering & Manufacturing Site in Liverpool, to support new & existing product platform innovation & NPD.Reporting to the Senior Project Leader, the Development & Test Engineer is responsible for the development of engineering solutions to meet with the proposed product technology roadmaps, supporting projects from the initial concepts to final hand-over to production, ensuring quality is designed and built in at every stage through the development cycle.The Development & Test Engineer role will involve the application of expert knowledge in either Electrical, and / or Gas Engineering to ensure that products meet specified market / customer requirements and which satisfy the prevailing safety, performance and reliability standards.Responsibilities of Development & Test Engineer:Ensure all aspects of Technical Development, Certification and Audit testing are full and complete to allow New Product Introductions (NPI) to be right first time, within cost, and meet quality requirements.Identification and development of product innovation opportunities. Participate in team activities e.g. (Projects Reviews, Design FMEA, Process FMEA, Ideation)Carry out relevant testing and produce technical reports.Support quality improvements of pre-existing systems and products.Experience & Qualifications Required for Development & Test Engineer Role:One or more of the following engineering skills will be considered along with a willingness to learn the other complementary engineering disciplines with the aim of become a "Multi-Skilled Electro/Mechanical Engineer" able to support all aspect of product developmentMin HNC in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineer / Electronic Engineering)Good knowledge of Electrical principles and safety testing of electrical systemsGood knowledge of Mechanical Engineering and safety testing of mechanical systemsGood knowledge of Gas Appliance Safety TestingMin 2ys experience of Safety Testing and working on engineering projects.Ideally hold Gas-Safe Registered Engineer Status (Or willingness to learn) For the successful Development & Test Engineer Role, a salary up to £35,000 + benefits is on offer and this Development & Test Engineer Role is commutable from Liverpool, Wigan, Warrington, Widnes, Runcorn, Ormskirk, Southport, St Helens and West Manchester.To be considered for this Development & Test Engineer Role, please apply via the link below.
