Test Manager

Spring Technology is working in partnership with a market leading FTSE 150 company to recruit a Test Manager to join them in their exciting new technical transformation. You will play a pivotal role in developing a Test Strategy, Test methodology, Test Plan, Test Governance and Test reporting in this company wide transformation.

The Company

You will be joining a FTSE 150 company with a global presence that is recognised as an industry leader. As the Test Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that the test approach is clearly defined and will ensure best practice standards are adhered to, to promote a low risk, high-quality and cost-effective change delivery process working with both our client's on and off shore teams within an agile environment.

The Role

We are looking for someone who ideally has experience of creating a test function from the ground up, including developing the Test Strategy and approach.

The Responsibilities

*Analyse, configure, test and implement new ERP system.

*Design technical specifications.

*Design, develop and test new modifications

*Utilise core Microsoft technology, for example ASP .NET, C# and SQL.

*SQL development, including SSRS.

*SQL server installation, configuration & management would be an advantage.

*Cut over, Go Live and Post Live Support

*Provide end user training and assist users with day-to-day issues, problems and questions

*Manage the change control management process of future changes, releases, updates and enhancements of the ERP system

*Collaborate with developers, integrators, and business partners for system enhancements and upgrades

*Work collaboratively with team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues

*Identify continuous improvement opportunities for assigned systems and processes.

*Create user accounts, delete accounts, creates/changes permissions by account; user profiles, page layouts etc.

*Design, enhance, and develop SSRS reports (Power BI experience a plus)

The Requirements

*The ideal candidate will be hands on and a ISEB/ISTQG qualified Test Lead with strong IT Software testing experience in a business facing environment.

*Hold experience of creating a test function from the ground up, including developing the Test Strategy and approach.

*Solid track record of Software Testing management to include Test Strategies, Test Plans, and Test Execution in a regulated environment.

*Possessing exceptional stakeholder and 3rd party management skills with the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical individuals.
