Role: Data Lead - PeopleSoft experience required

Duration: 6-9 months

Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Payroll Project as a Data Lead to support delivery of 3 key objectives:

1. To successfully transition payroll services and payroll data from legacy to new provider (and onto a new system)

2. To drive service improvements (including greater data accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing)

3. To introduce enhanced reporting

Key responsibilities of the Data Lead will include:Identifying the data migration impact of all proposed payroll process and system changesReviewing gaps and proposing a solution for data migration during the solution design phaseDevise and get approval for the data migration strategy for the implementationOversee and ensure the production of a mapping matrix for all dataOversee and ensure a gap analysis for any missing or archive dataReviewing as-is data quality and putting in place plans to address any required data quality improvementsOversee and ensure the building of intermediate database creation scriptsOversee and ensure the building of data validation scriptsEnsure the accurate filling of intermediate data tables during data loadExperienced in collaborating with teams, creating a highly motivated and delivery focused teamResilient character with a good sense of humour, able to follow a defined plan of action

Essential Skills

- Extensive experience of Data Cleanse and Migration activities

- Oracle PeopleSoft

Desirable Skills

- Previous experience in working within HR environment

- Knowledge or experience of Payroll systems from a functional and technical perspective

- Direct experience of an ADP to NGA payroll transition would be beneficial
