A leading technology company specialising in software and data services are looking for a number of PHP Developers / Software Developers/ Software Engineers to join their expanding team.You will be helping to develop a large scale data platform, producing robust, secure and fast-running code. You should have experience working with PHP, large sets of data (here you'll be working with multiple billion rows), and producing high availability code. Any experience of location and/or data services would be beneficial.The successful Software Developers / Software Engineers will have skills and experience in optimisation and querying, and be able to produce precise and efficient output on real time and/or time series data problems. Most importantly, you'll relish a challenge, love technology, and be willing to quickly learn new skills and technologies.Not all of the below are essential, but here is a list of languages and technologies which we are looking for experience in:PHPMongoDB/CouchDB/Couchbase or similarRabbit MQ or similar message queue technologySQL, MySQL, NoSQLGO opensource programmingExperience of big data technologies, e.g. Hadoop, Spark, or similar.Experience building web applications on a large scaleExperience working as a Software Developer, Engineer, Programmer at a junior, mid or senior level.
