IT Engineeer needed 2nd line support in South Manchester

My client are currently looking to recruit a Senior IT Engineer within our IT function. Reporting to the IT Service Management Lead, you will be responsible for coaching and mentoring 1st and 2nd Line Engineers. You will be joining a 700 strong team which is continuingly growing. The role requests a proven track record of undertaking effective incident requests and problem solving.

Responsibilities:

- 70% of your time will working on 2nd line support

- 30% of your time will be working on improving support processes using ITIL frameworks

- You will be expected to support window servers, active directory, exchange and VMware or hyperV.

- Team mentoring and training

- work with 3rd line Engineers to assist with application releases
