Manufacturing Engineer£35,000 - £45,000 (DOE) + Training + Progression + Excellent BenefitsTamworth (Commutable from: Birmingham, Cannock, Coventry, Leicester, Burton-upon-Trent) Are you a Process Engineer from a manufacturing background looking for a challenging and varied role in a T1 Supplier where you can directly impact and improve the shop floor with your skills?This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading company with a state of the art manufacturing facility where you will work in a team and have the autonomy to lead & carry out process & continuous improvement projects. This company manufacture bespoke and complex electronics products for a range of industries such as Aerospace and Automotive. They have a modern facility in Tamworth and you will have the opportunity to work with a range of technologies such as CNC Machining, Plating & chemical processing.This role would suit a Process/Manufacturing Engineer with an understanding of modern manufacturing techniques and methodologies looking for an interesting role where they can make an impact and learn new skills. The Role:- Identify and develop process improvements for shop floor- Lead & Project manage continuous improvement projects- Apply problem solving methodologies to increase excellenceThe Candidate:- Process improvement experience - Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment, ideally CNC shop floor- Knowledge of Problem Solving techniques (eg FMEAs, DMAIC, etc)
