Our client is a highly established market leader who delivers a range of services to education establishments throughout the UK and overseas. A great opportunity has arisen to work with this leading provider of IT software and services as their Services Account Manager.

This is a field-based role that requires you to meet with clients and customers across the Southern Region of the UK (below the M4 Corridor, including London). A good centrally located candidate may be based in Hampshire or adjacent counties, however, provided you are comfortable with travelling, you can be based anywhere in the South of England.

You will be taking responsibility for the service account management, ensuring a consistently high quality of service and performance across your region. You will take on the financial management of the P&L for your contracts, and will be required to develop and identify opportunities for improving financial performance. You will be a strong team manager and will be responsible for not only for the management of but also the recruitment, target-setting and performance of the Customer Support Engineer Team. You will be expected to assist with Business Development and Growth, ensuring you contribute to proposition development not only in customer accounts but throughout the company group.

-Exceptional Interpersonal Skills, Ability to Influence at all levels

-Energetic & Driven with the Ability to Motivate and Drive Delivery Teams and Clients / Customers

-Presentable & Professional, Ability to Articulate / Communicate Complex Scenarios

-Strong Decision Making, Excellent Judgement when making important decisions

-A strong negotiator and influencer, ability to sell a product / service to clients

-Technical knowledge / experience of the IT Industry (a Software Provider would be ideal)
