Experience required

  • Microsoft Stack
  • Delivering OLAP and Data warehouse Assignments using on site and cloud platforms
  • Microsoft data platform, using IAAS, PAAS
  • SQL Server
  • Integration Services (SSIS)
  • Analysis Services, Reporting Services (SSRS) from versions 2012 to 2016
  • Azure Stack and PaaS that offers Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Data Warehouse
  • Microsoft data platform, using IAAS, PAAS

What you will do

  • Build and deliver MSBI solutions across on-premises and cloud platforms
  • Build relations with client stakeholders to gaina a high-level of MSBI expertise
  • Work with clients, local teams and offshore resources to deliver modern BI products
  • Work effectively on client sites, and in different offices around the UK
  • Internally, you will help identify improved ways of working, contribute to the I&D practice and mentor juniors and be part of a knowledge management initiative.
  • Your role will require you to identify areas for improvement within the company, and to help provide solutions that will contribute to L&D along side mentoring more junior members of the team as part of knowledge management initiative

You will be part of a team that will work on diverse projects. Occasionally you'll be faced with the challenge of outlining a client's data visualisation transformation roadmap. On the flip side you could be putting your head down to create an innovative BI solution for a multi-part business problem or even assisting in responding to client bid responses.

You must take into consideration this role requires you to be flexible, however flexible working hours can be arranged. The desire to travel for work across the UK, ranging from Birmingham to Leeds will make you a competitive candidate as the role may insist working from a different office location.

In relation to being flexible many benefits are on offer such as a competitive salary of 40-100k depending on level of experience. All travel expenses covered by the company, in addition to 25 days paid holiday per year. Bonus' are available in relation to experience within your role. You will be given the opportunity to gain MS certification training and exam support covered by the company.
