The role is a key project management position responsible for the technical delivery implementation of Entertainment Products & Services across 12 EU countries in order to enable the delivery of revenue growth primarily across our B2C unit. The role requires experience in and specifically focusses on project management for one or more of the following types of projects:CPE hardware and software development, porting and/or deploymentOTT video centric platforms development, porting and/or deploymentFull video eco-systems greenfield and scale up deployment projectsIn-flight lifecycle management development projectsGeneric software development life cycle management for video applications, based on Agile processesThis individual will be the Go To technical & project management contact for both in flight product developments and our overall technology strategy to support growth and customer proposition plans around the Entertainment portfolio. This role is a Technical Lead position in the Technology group that is responsible for the end-to-end project management of Products & Services across all Go To Market teams and therefore should ensure synergies in our overall delivery and operating model by working closely with peers within Technology and across the wider Technology & Innovation groupThis role might lead a large team in a project matrix structure through integration activities across Europe and must inspire and motivate in a way that leverages the collective talent across all markets and align individuals around the Customer Value Proposition. This role is pivotal in bringing together E2E products and services at the system integration activity level, including drawing in IT, Core, Access, Mobile & Technology groups such that we build a compelling and differentiated service across the entire customer journey, with built-in quality, robustness and operational excellence instrumentation and operating model designSkills and Competencies:At least 5+ years of experience in End-to-End System Integration of B2C video servicesAt least 5+ years of Experience and knowledge of CATV technologies, STB and DTV Middleware platforms and Video Delivery technologies5+ years of experience in delivery management of large Pan-European B2C implementation projects, with extensive knowledge and experience of technology development and delivery management methodologies.deep understanding of entertainment technology & ecosystem, from CPE hardware and software to service platforms, user interfaces, Apps and media acquisition/management, processing, and distribution, and end-to-end content protection and securitywide understanding of IP and broadcast networking as well as data center infrastructureA strong overall understanding of the technologies and platforms specific to a large cable and telecommunications operatorBasic technical knowledge and implementation experience around CPE hardware and software, Video encoding/transcoding, CAS, DRM, Video back-ends, workflows, CMS, security services, Search & Recommendations, Application Services, CDN, Ad Insertion, broadband data, home networking, TV, VoD, PVR, Access technology, and Internet technology relatedMichael Bailey International is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
