JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Job Purpose and primary objectives:

The incumbent in this position would be responsible for provide technical leadership across the Informatica software products, provides the main technical delivery of the BDM, BDQ and BDS elements of the solution

Adherence to Architectural process as outlined by customer. Ensure that the Software works within the customer estate.

Assess the use cases for suitability for the platform and provide recommendation.

In this role one need to interact with customers & other stakeholders for understanding requirements and providing optimal solution.

Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team):

This is more of individual contributor role in the large team, but this role requires closely working with Enterprise Architects, Informatica Administrator, Service Design Colleagues and Project Manager to deliver outcome.

Key Skills/Knowledge:

Good written and verbal communication.

Good problem solving and analytical skills.

Experience as Architect for Informatica products.

Knowledge of AWS and installation of Informatica products on cloud.

Experience on capacity planning for the software.

Experience on building service wrapper (upgrade, patches etc) around the Informatica software product

Experience with Distributed Server Knowledge.

Experience in designing security services around the tool.

Experience required:

? Atleast one project implementation in Informatica Big Data Management (BDM); (Design/Build and Deployment)

? Experience in Informatica Big Data Management (BDM); Data Quality (BDQ) , Enterprise Data Catalogue (EDC), Big Data Streaming (BDS)

? Design Thinking; Automation experience by defining Control frameworks ; Mass Ingestions; Spark Compute etc

? Batch and Near Real Time workloads (like Red Hat AMQ)

? Exposure to Big Data storage mechanism (HDFS/Kudu/Hbase/Hive/ etc)

? Exposure to AWS Cloud (or any other Cloud)
