This is an opportunity to join an established Software Development company with many years of experience in the market.

They work together with a variety of international clients and SME's. They specialise in the development of complex information systems. The solutions developed by their team are used by thousands of users across Europe and North America.

They are building a new remote team of talented Perl programmers who are not afraid to tackle challenging projects for a large telecoms client.

Your main responsibility will be the development of information systems according to the needs of their clients.

Working alongside their existing Perl team based in Huddersfield you will be a part of a Scrum team that delivers on large projects for a single client who treat the team as the experts and trusts us to deliver solutions fit for purpose.

The ideal candidate will be from a Perl background.

- You are familiar with modern Perl, Moose and DBIx

- You understand and are familiar with web development, cgi, HTML and Javascript

- You understand SVN/GIT and know how to write useful tests.

- You can tackle SQL databases or other relational database.

You have a dedicated, safe and comfortable work environment at home.

But mostly, you love programming, are focused on writing clean code and enjoy your work

5 weeks holiday, powerful company laptop with OS of your choice, pension contributions, company outings and flexible working hours.

£30,000 to £40,000 dependant on experience. Permanent home working position with flexible working hours between 8am and 8pm
