C++ Developer / Software Engineer (FPGA C++ Linux Algorithm). Algorithmic trading firm is seeking a skilled Software Engineer with strong C++ and FPGA experience to design and develop robust, resilient and high-speed in-house trading systems that execute algorithmic trading strategies based on patterns in market behaviour.

Collaborating with a very capable engineering team you will optimise the trading platform using network and systems programming to minimise latency; develop systems that provide easy access to historical market data and trading solutions; create tools to analyse data for patterns and build risk management and performance tracking tools. You'll contribute to the core engineering team to ensure continual improvement and help build the team.

Requirements:

*Strong C++ design and development experience

*Experience with FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array), particularly optimisation of high performance low level applications

*Thorough understanding of computing fundamentals such as Data Structures, Algorithms and Object Orientated Programming

*Good working knowledge of Linux
