Supplier Director

I'm working with a high growth, high ambition yet established technology business to find their next Supplier Director. To be based in Grenoble (not bad eh?) or Singapore (also a great city & country!) the Supplier Director will use their excellent sourcing skills, alongside their expert relationship management capabilities to get the most of a high tech supply base. The Supplier Director will join this business at a key time in their history, ensuring they are in control of the relationships that can contribute towards the overall success of the business as they serve the similarly high-tech semiconductor industry with their technology.

As the Supplier Director you will take the lead in all procurement matters, but here is where the catch is, you will be doing very little in the way of sourcing and your primary focus will be on ensuring you're getting the most out of their existing supply base. You see this is a niche technology business and their supplier base is limited. It is essential that they have a positive and productive relationship with all of their suppliers and it is up to you to foster those relationships.
