Infrastructure Engineer

Spring Technology are working in partnership with a leading energy company who are looking for a talented Infrastructure Analyst based in their prestigious offices in Kidderminster

The Role

As an infrastructure engineer your role will focus on remote and onsite infrastructure support. You will provide 3rd line implementation and infrastructure support services to the organisation to ensure a stable operation across the data, voice and infrastructure environments. You will have extensive citrix skills and be comfortable with migrations and upgrades

£45k - £54k

The Responsibilities

*3rd Level Incident and Problem Management

*Liaise with 2nd line team to resolve incidents within SLAs

*Proactively identify operational problems and reach a resolution

*Provide technical expertise across operational procedures

*Maintain accurate documentation on all aspects of the Infrastructure systems

The Requirements

*Proven experience within a 3rd line infrastructure capacity*

*Excellent Citrix experience across migrations and upgrades

*Technical knowledge - Windows Server 2008 - 2016, Windows 7/10, Active Directory, Citrix thin client / Desktop Virtualisation, Netapp

*Strong experience within Virtualisation technologies

*LAN infrastructure and WAN Connectivity experience

*An understanding of fibre networking technologies
