Security Network Engineer (Check Point Firewalls). City based trading firm is seeking a skilled Security Network Engineer to monitor and maintain the security environment from virus, malware and spyware. You will take ownership, focusing on managing and supporting Firewall solutions and provide expertise on Check Point as well as investigating potential Network Security incidents and threats as well as managing third party suppliers.

As a Security Network Engineer you will join a collaborative team and will be encouraged to make suggestions and improvements. You'll be working in an informal atmosphere in the City with a good work life balance, casual dress code, bright, funky offices and a peaceful work environment.

Requirements:

*Indepth knowledge of Check Point firewalls including installation and configuration experience

*Experience of working in a financial environment

*Strong knowledge of Routing protocols and TCP/IP protocols

*Experience of supporting hosting services i.e. DNS, Proxy Filtering, Firewall Changes, Mail Relays, Web Hosting

*Nice to have: CCSA or CCSE certified; experience in a financial environment
