Solution Engineer - Unified Communications / Skype / Cisco - This is a long term contract opportunity for an experienced UC Engineer to join our Zurich based client in the financial sector.

Your experience/skills:

* Expertise in the area of Microsoft Unified Communication products such as Skype for Business, complemented by 3rd party product integration's and AudioCodes gateways

* Knowledge of Cisco Unified Communications products

* Excellent troubleshooting and monitoring skills like analysing issues and problems and ability to recognise alternative solutions and consequences of proposed actions and implement recommendations

* Ability to understand the marketplace of services and products as well as competence of translating requirements into solutions and to deliver them

* Capability to interact with internal and external people and other business owners on an interpersonal level

* Experience in working in an agile environment and with Scrum is advantageous

* Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German is a plus

Your tasks:

* Focusing and contributing as part of a Scrum team on the sprint delivery goals

* Creating and designing solutions that meet the company's security and networking standards

* Offering 3rd level technical consultancy services for internal colleagues and external service providers

* Optimising the existing environment by evaluating and developing new technologies, products and concepts as well as conducting PoCs and lab testings

* Providing roadmaps and product portfolios in compliance with handling non-standard requests

* Developing approaches to application readiness support and participating in company internal knowledge sharing sessions
