We are currently working with a leading independent, end-to-end IT Services Company to find their next Senior Unix Systems Administrator to be based in London.

Do you hold a minimum of ten years' experience as a Senior Unix Systems Administrator working with Unix systems including Linux & Solaris v10? You will also need to demonstrate:

* Hardware experience

* Network experience

* Disk management & volume management (SVM/LVM) experience

* Storage experience in EMC or 3PAR

The role shall be based in Kings Cross, London and will be a contract length for an initial six months.

The cluster experience required is:

* Veristas cluster and volume manager

* RH cluster & volume manager

* HACMP cluster & volume manager

Technically the role will require experience and knowledge in

* Patching of solaris/Unix servers

* LDAP directory services/authentication & authorization services (single sign on)

* Virtualization technologies including VMware, Linux KVM, Solaris containers etc.

* DR knowledge

* Microsoft Docker

* Scripting and programming experience in Shell, Pear, Java

* Storage including storage uplifts, migration etc.

* Red Hat and relevant certification.
