Senior IT Support Engineer

An opening for a Senior IT Support Engineer to join a global manufacturing company within their UK IT team. You will be joining a prestigious company with a global footprint, within process, industrial, commercial and residential markets.

Your role will be to assist members of staff in a very busy IT Department and be responsible for Installation, maintenance and support of Group Servers and IT Equipment. As the IT Department is a very busy department, you will be asked to perform duties from any one of several members of staff within the IT Department and therefore Communication is a vital part of your role.

You will be experienced to an advance level in Installation in the following technologies.

* Group Server Hardware and peripherals

* Active Directory and Group Policy

* IP, DNS, DHCP and Server Technologies

* Multisite Routing

* Cisco Routers and Intelligent Switches, Cisco, 3Com with Gigabyte Uplink module configuration

* ADSL & VPN Installations (Cisco and DrayTek)

* ISA and TMG Server

* RIS and WDS remote installation services

* Dell SonicWALL Firewall NSA 3600

* Firewall, Proxy and DNS Server installations and configuration

* Microsoft Exchange System and Server Environment

* Microsoft Enterprise Server Environment to 2016.

* Multiple Network Technologies

* Cabling Networking infrastructures, including Category 4, 5e, 6 & Fibre
