Unix System Administrator x2

All offers subject to a standard BPSS check
Unix systems including Linux & Solaris v10 (mandatory)
* Hardware experience
* Network experience
* Disk management & volume management (SVM/LVM) experience
* Storage experience in EMC or 3PAR
Cluster experience:
* Veritas cluster and volume manager - highly preferred
* RH cluster & volume manager - desirable
* HACMP cluster & volume manager - desirable
* Patching of Solaris/Unix servers (Mandatory)
* LDAP directory services/authentication & authorization services (single sign on) (Mandatory)
* Virtualization technologies including VMware, Linux KVM, Solaris containers etc (Mandatory)
* DR knowledge (Desirable)
* Microsoft Docker (Desirable)
* Scripting and programming experience in Shell, Perl, Java (Desirable)
* Storage including storage uplifts, migrations etc (desirable)
* Red Hat and relevant certification (desirable)
Non-Technical Skill
* Extensive troubleshooting experience in a Production environment.
* Ability to work under pressure and leadership skills
* Expertise in client communication
* Investing banking experience preferred
* Good knowledge in mapping client requirement into design and implementation
* Good domain knowledge about process and procedure
* ITIL certification/knowledge desirable
