QA Automation Lead

ShortList Recruitment are looking for a QA Automation Lead for a fantastic company in Liverpool city centre.

The QA Automation Lead will work with the software development team to achieve high performance and goals. The role will include the planning and estimating of overall test strategy, submitting bugs, developing test plans and running tests, progress reporting and reporting on product quality.

The QA Automation Lead will develop comprehensive test plans that explain the test strategy for each project and champion process improvement throughout. You will support junior testers on the team by providing feedback to their work. You will work with the Head of QA to improve QA processes.

Key requirements for the QA Automation Lead:
Two years' experience in QA Automation
Development and SQL experience
Two years' experience with Testing frameworks (Selenium/Ranorex desirable)
Work within, teach and improve multiple software development lifecycle processes
Testing on Linux/Windows (C++, Java, PHP, VB.NET desirable)

About you:
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Diploma/Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science
Continuous Integration experience

A salary of £45,000 is available for the right QA Automation Lead plus a range of great benefits.
The role is based in Liverpool and is commutable from Birkenhead, Chester, Liverpool, Manchester, St Helens, Wrexham and the Wirral.
