Would you be interested in joining a highly successful SME-level company, as a Supply Chain Manager?

The company do some very interesting work in the Defence industry and are currently developing products that will be shipped around the globe! Due to recent success, the company are looking to bring in a motivated Supply Chain Manager to join them, and hopefully take their team to the next level.

As the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for:

* Starting with receiving a Project Bill of Materials (from System Architects)

* Through to selection of vendors (in liaison with Delivery team)

* Through to subcontract management of vendors to ensure delivery of materials on time and booked into Stores at SRT

* Responsible for liaison with stores for onward shipping of all project materials to project locations worldwide, so knowledge of customs and shipping/logistics would be preferable

* Also responsible for all related tasks like any licences needed to ship or needed to access certain countries

* Then also responsible for warranty returns during support period

They are looking for you to have the following skills:

* The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate that they have a minimum of 5 years working as a Supply Chain professional covering both Procurement/Subcontract roles in a technical environment.

* Able to demonstrate that the candidate has worked on all parts of the end to end procurement process from buyer through to negotiation and subcontract delivery on time, through goods inwards to delivery to site/country.

* Demonstratable experience of working with engineering teams and project teams in a project environment but also off own initiative at times.
