Operational Risk Specialist - London

My client has recently been given budget to grow internal op risk capability. Im therefore seeking 3 operational risk professionals to join this well-established City of London business. FS sector experience is essential, specifically investment banking is highly desirable.

You will be a driven and enthusiastic person with a desire to learn. These positions are hands on, looking primarily at 1st LoD and therefore you need to be personable and get buy in from multiple stakeholders.

* Provide advice and guidance on risk management to foster high achieving, well controlled business functions

* Develop and promote operational elements of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) including risk appetites, emerging risks and incident capture and analysis

* Support business teams in consistently applying the RMF to identify, assess, manage, monitor and report all material risks using appropriate tools (e.g. risk registers, controls analysis, incident management, emerging risks analysis, key risk indicators, risk appetite, etc)

* Support and challenge incident capture and analysis

* Support the effective operation of technical and risk Committees

* Deliver regular operational risk reporting information to support effective decision making by senior executives and risk committees

* Undertake thematic reviews as required on issues, projects or risks
