Digital Project Manager/ 6 month contract/ Warwickshire/ £450-£500 per day

Spring Technology are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our leading Clients who are seeking a Digital Project Manager

The project manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of delivery from the product and technology teams that form part of a global programme.

The project manager will be experienced in managing geographically distributed teams, possess strong stakeholder engagement skills and can communicate clearly between business and technology stakeholders. Experience around web and digital delivery will be essential for this role along with some experience of business change processes and to have worked on business change projects. The ideal candidate will be working with development teams so will need a good understanding of design but will not need to be a designer.

Responsibilities

*Develop and communicate a robust project plan that dovetails with delivery from other parts of the programme

*Work with the Product Owner to ensure a sound delivery approach

*Continuously drive out uncertainty and risk to project delivery

*Coordinate and achieve results from a geographically distributed team of internal resources and third parties/vendors

*Ensure actions are planned to avoid / minimise common pitfalls that lead to project failure

*Ensure projects delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

*Develop project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders

*Ensure resource availability and allocation

*Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs

*Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques

*Report and escalate to management as needed

*Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders

*Perform risk management to minimize project risks

*Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors

*Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation using an established methodology

Experience

*Proven working experience as a project manager in the information technology sector

*Experience of digital workplace intranet platforms

*Experience of SaaS implementations integrated with back-office systems

*Understanding of what is involved in rolling out a new Content Management system

*Sound understanding of the needs of service transition and service delivery

*Great educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering for technical project managers

*Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies

*Excellent client-facing, written and verbal communication skills

*Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

*Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint

*PMP / PRINCE II certification
