Graduate Systems Engineer - Communications - Portsmouth - up to £40,000 + benefits
Role type: Permanent
Travel: 20% to customer sites
A leading defence and security consultancy who are known to have some of the most intelligent workforce across the UK are looking to bring in an experienced graduate systems engineer to join their leading maritime division and work on mission critical projects and programmes.
Due to billions of £ of investment and organisational growth and securing prestigious national and international projects they are expanding their team, bringing in new talent to complement their existing teams.
The opportunity will be joining a systems engineering family of engineers and architects to support continuous work in the command system and underwater system technical space.
The Role:
The ideal candidate will have a few years post - graduation experience and support in developing communication architecture solutions across the frequency spectrum.
The role also entails:
* Installation and integration of equipments in a range of military and commercial platforms.
* Production of technical documentation to support work that is being carried out
Experience required:
* Ideally an electronics/ systems engineering background
* Knowledge of Matlab, Simulink
* Verification and validation
* Experienced in development of high control software products
* Degree education essential in relevant engineering or technical discipline
