R&D Manager Role on offer for someone looking to take the next step up in to a managerial position. Due to an increase in demand they have recently expanded their site and now looking expand their R&D Department within the company.

Do you have experience leading a team in a manufacturing environment? Do you have an understanding of 3D CAD Design?

This company are a well-established manufacturer of Fire Safety Equipment who are going through significant growth due to increased demand. Their success has been driven through their innovative designs and reputation for quality and efficiency. They are now looking for an R&D Manager to form a new department within the company.

In this role you will be working with both Senior Management and R&D Team to oversee and lead projects so they are introduced on time and within budget; Drawing office administration - drawing/specification/report approval and systemised control of all R&D related documentation within QA system. You will be up to date with all current trends, practices, market developments and regulatory changes that impact on the company's products.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team in a busy manufacturing environment relating to sheet metal fabrication. You will also have knowledge and experience of 3D CAD Design and a creative mind-set. You will have strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.

The Role:

*R&D Manager

*Overseeing R&D Projects from start to finish

*Manage R&D team effectively

*£35,000 - £38,000 + Training + Progression + Overtime + Excellent Benefits
