Lead Data Engineer (Python). Would you like to take a lead role for a technology driven scale-up data research business within the energy space? As a Lead Data Engineer you'll be partnering across the business and will be able to influence tech choices and direction. Around 60% of your time will be spent on line management coordinating and managing the day-to-day workflow of the Data Engineering team. You'll work with other business areas to elicit technical requirements, collaborating with a global team. You'll also remain hands-on for the other 40%, designing and managing improvements as well as developing new automated data flows that are robust and performant.

Requirements:

*Strong data engineering experience

*Strong Python programming skills

*Leadership experience with a desire to move into a management position

*Experience of working with software development teams

*Excellent communication skills
