One of the UK's fastest growing financial organisations is currently looking to continue the expansion of their technical team with an experienced and forward-thinking DBA who will be an instrumental member of the team that is responsible for implementing new database servers and instances, maintaining/supporting service improvements within the existing database estate as well as the processing schedule whilst also ensuring the continued development of the data warehouse, data imports and exports.

The successful DBA (or Senior DBA) will be required to work closely with the senior IT management to lead operational and project priorities, liaise with key stakeholders and PMO to prioritise data related development work on the Warehouse and import & export process and to enhance and further automate the daily operational checks and contribute as required at a working level to assist the team with all aspects of their day-to-day responsibilities.

key skills and experience required;

* Experienced DBA or currently operating in a senior DBA role

* previous experience of working in a small team with some mentoring responsibilities would be highly beneficial

* Advanced knowledge of SQL Server 2008 r2/2014/2016

* T-SQL (Stored Procs, Functions)

* SSIS (ETL)

* SSAS (Analysis Services / Cube processing)

* SSRS (Reporting Services) and Power-BI

* Team Foundation Server

* MS SQL Server Administration

* Agile methodologies
