Role

As a member of the Automation Team within Digital Graph QL team, you'll help deliver, maintain and support reliable automated components which form the backbone of our test and release process:

* Work with developers to perform Impact analysis of GraphQL API changes for release

* Provide realistic efforts for automation per release

* Perform review of changes for automation viability

* Design and build automated tests to validate GraphQL changes

* Build regression suite into pipeline to be executed per release

* Execution of automated tests

* Maintenance of automated tests

* Work with wider Automation Test Team to articulate impact of each GraphQL release on consumer regression suites

* Raise, monitor and close out defects raised as a result of automation runs

* Report test coverage and success per release

Your skills

* Java programming development experience

* Knowledge and understanding of testing principles

* Ability to structure and develop tests, using BDD and cucumber

* Hands-on experience of GraphQL API testing preferred

* Experience of using Karate Framework is preferred

* Ability to debug and triage defects

* Understanding of Agile principles and Scrum process

* Ability to own and drive quality throughout the automation process
