A highly established organisation based in Cambridge are currently recruiting for Java Applications Developer to join their team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for working as a member of the development team to deliver solutions to the required standard and understanding current systems and their capabilities so that the developer can confidently develop areas that are needed for the business.

The Java Developer will come from a background consisting in enterprise Java Application development and will be comfortable with both front and back end application development.

Key skills and capabilities

* Object Orientated (OO) Design experience

* Appreciation for several design patterns

* Knowledge of designing distributed systems

* Knowledge of designing concurrent systems

* Must have excellent core Java development skills

Experience

* Knowledge of programming language: Javascript with JQuery

* Knowledge of one or more development frameworks (Spring 4, Hibernate 4, FreeMaker, MS SSRS Reporting)

* Knowledge of web application servers and their administration (Tomcat )

* Knowledge of HTML, CSS

* Knowledge of working with a large scale RESTful web services and multiple database systems
