Responsibilities include:

* maintaining and supporting Live Service spanning across 4 data centres and 4 main office locations

* addressing risk and audit issues as identified

* enabling migration to the new IRIS UK platform

Mandatory:

* be a good communicator: written, verbal and presentation

* be used to interacting at senior Exec level within Customer organisations

* have demonstrated ability to remain effective under extreme pressure

* have a track record of successful major project delivery

* understand all aspects of maintaining a Live Service

* understand all aspects of data centre infrastructure and operation

Highly Desirable:

In-depth appreciation of:

* maintaining live service operation

* directing and managing EOS/EOL infrastructure upgrades

* directing and managing patching of operating systems, firmware, tooling and utility software

* Citrix and virtual desktops

* Live Incident Management processes

* Technical Resource allocation

* Solution Reviews (from perspective of impact upon Live Service)

* ITIL processes

* Security and Cyber risk

* Operating at the CTO level

* Virtual Data Centres

* Audit action resolution

* Challenges of Legacy applications

* Use of Enterprise Bus to decouple applications

* large scale VMWare farms

* AIX LPAR platforms

* Hosting Oracle RAC databases

* Hosting SQL Server databases
