Role: Infrastructure / Systems Engineer

Position: Permanent

Location: Manchester

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (DOE)

A great opportunity has risen in Manchester City Centre for a Service Engineer to join an exciting analytics business.

My client requires an infrastructure engineer to work within the tech team, taking a lead in building the cloud infrastructure, giving IT support and maintaining the IT systems.

Job Responsibilities:

* Plan and implement new systems

* Suggest new ideas and solutions to problems

* Determine issues with business internet connectivity, WAN technologies, remote access and VPN configuration

* Lead in delivering consistent, robust, infrastructure (DevOps)

Experience:

* Previous experience in similar role

* Experience with infrastructure automation platforms; chef or Ansible

* Experience with AWS

* Experience with Information Security

* Experience with; Terraform, Elastic stack, Linux, Mongo DB, Telecoms

* Good knowledge of GIT
