We have an exciting opportunity for a full-stack web developer to join the Corporate Information Services team as it embarks on a new website project.

You will be part of a team responsible for the on-going development of corporate web systems, including the Portal and Web Content Management System.  In addition, you will assist in the support and development of other general web services and web branding across corporate applications, and development of web based data feeds.

A key focus of development activity is the on-going development of the University's enterprise wide CMS (Liferay).  You will play a key role in this activity and will undertake development tasks using formal processes and adhere to agreed development and deployment standards.

Educated to degree level and/or with demonstrable relevant commercial programming experience, you will have demonstrable experience of development of web based systems in an environment where every millisecond counts. You will have an understanding of industry standards and best practice, which will include accessibility standards and SEO techniques. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential in this role.
