The Company

It's a game tech start-up in Dundee, with few years on their shoulders. They developed a cloud platform which helps game developers add features like leaderboards, analytics and multiplayer to their games. Over 10 million player accounts have been created and new games are being launched on their platform every month.

The plan is to expand, and to accomodate it they're looking for a new DevOps engineer to join the team.

The Role

The role will include implementation of scalability improvements to existing features, researching new tools and processes, identifying bottlenecks and weak points through load testing. On a daily basis you will work in AWS with DynamoDB, Kinesis, Redshift and SQS. For automation purposes they use MySQL, Redis and Ansible, so any exposure to those technologies is a great benefit. Let's just not forget about the Dev part in the DevOps - you should be familiar with a mainstream programming language such as C#, Java, PHP or Python.
