Delivery Manager - National Retraining Scheme

As Delivery Manager you'll lead one of the teams behind the Scheme. We'll look for you to identify obstacles and find solutions that keep the project on track, encourage an atmosphere of continuous development and be an authority on how Agile and Lean tools and techniques elevate everyone's impact.

Naturally we'll expect you to bring big picture thinking, together with a real appreciation for technical details. And there'll be lots of opportunity to shape the team's approach alongside policy, delivery and digital colleagues, and external experts - as you develop a Scheme centered around users' needs.

It's something that calls for a deep understanding of the latest Agile and Lean processes. And, as a confident communicator and proven manager, you'll work effectively across organisational, technical and political boundaries to champion their importance.

It's vital you've a strong record of planning, forecasting and estimating, and building detailed roadmaps that mitigate risks and get the best from everyone involved. Equally, you'll always be keen to challenge the status quo and be thoroughly focused on outcomes.
