Product Manager - National Retraining Scheme

As Product Manager, you'll define, own and solve the problems involved with developing and delivering the Scheme - taking it through the alpha, beta and live phases.

This will call for close work with policy, delivery and digital civil servants, and external experts. So you'll need to be able to paint a clear picture of the overall vision, and inspire everyone to create policy, complete research and shape a service that perfectly matches users' needs.

It's important you understand how to apply an Agile mindset to all aspects of our work. Not afraid to take risks, you'll foster an iterative approach that gives everyone a chance to input; but ultimately manage the process of designing and running core elements of the Scheme yourself.

A natural analyst, it's important you bring wide knowledge of product management principles that can capture and translate requirements into deliverables. Focused on outcomes, you'll have the technical ability to turn those deliverables into innovative design approaches and services; and the gravitas to get buy-in from colleagues and others as you make them a reality.
