What to expect:

Our global client are investing in the Security Operations Centre and you will be leading our growing security team, both on the strategic and technical aspect throughout the role. This position will involve identifying and mitigating numerous vulnerabilities, evaluating the time between identified and mitigated vulnerability, as well as assessing the effectiveness of the management process to maximise efficiency.

The successful candidate will report into the Head of Cyber Defence and Threat Intelligence, working closely with Senior Security Analysts and the External Security Operations Center. You will be a valued member of the Security team responsible for defining the vulnerability Management strategy and execution plan, establishing a robust vulnerability Management process.

What you'll need:

We are looking for a Degree educated leader with a security background and strong experience of deploying and rolling out Nessus, or similar tools, as well as evidence of strong vendor management skills in previous roles. We are keen to speak to people with strong experience in vulnerability management and patching and previous experience with Qualys would be advantageous.

We are looking for those who have experience with previous experience of strategically and technically leading the testing in security projects including defining procedures to deploy vulnerability scanners and implement the automation processes. It's also desirable for you to have a security qualification such as CISSP or CISM, or relevant experience.
