2ND LINE SUPPORT ENGINEER - GLASGOW - 12 MONTHS
My Glasgow based client currently require a driven and enthusiastic individual to join them to assist in the smooth running of day-to-day services and carrying out some projects over the length of the contract.
Within this role you will be responsible for all aspects of infrastructure administration and support, which will see you providing incident resolutions in a customer service style environment via telephone, email and remote support applications. There will also be aspects of the job which will see you involved in physical installations and upgrades. You will need to have a strong understanding of various aspects of IT, a customer-focused approach and great communication skills.
For this role you must have:
* Previous experience in similar desktop support position
* Ability to identify issues, whilst providing exemplary customer service
* Competent at working through ticketing systems
* Solid grasp of networking operating systems and hardware
* Good understanding of Microsoft's System Centre
Technical skills required:
* Windows Server
* DNS/DHCP
* Active Directory
* Exchange
