Are you looking to work in a fast moving, dynamic and evolving business based in Exeter? Do you have proven experience within the world of Business Analysis?

Due to another exceptional year, they are looking for an ambitious, highly motivated Technical Business Analyst. The successful candidate will play a key role in the development of their business-critical proprietary SaaS web applications targeted at the retail automotive industry.

Working on a variety of projects using different technologies and working in an AGILE environment, the successful candidate will be an excellent team player with good communication skills, strong attention to detail, self-motivated, able to work independently or as part of a larger team and able to meet deadlines.

Primary Responsibilities:

- System Scoping - Capture requirements for new solutions and system enhancements

- Requirements Management - working alongside the technical lead within an AGILE development process to decompose design specifications into development ready user stories follow the INVEST model

- Supporting the Product Owner with backlog refinement

- Supporting the Project Manager to unblock the development team

- Ability to decompose complex requirements into clear well-defined solutions

- Test Support - providing ad-hoc test support where required

Required Skills and Experience:

- Experience of working in an AGILE / Scrum development environment

- Strong systems analysis skills, with the ability to model current system behaviours

- Experienced in the creation of user stories and acceptance criteria

- Experience of working with senior stakeholders and the communication of technical concepts

Desired Skills and Experience:

- Microsoft SQL Server and Database design

- Microsoft .Net Framework

- C#, json, XML

You should be a good communicator at a technical level, analytical and able to understand and present complex solutions and explain issues within the technical team. Please only apply if you currently reside within a commuting distance of Exeter or are willing to relocate.
