Web Designer / Frontend Developer

Up to £28,000 + excellent benefits

Spring Technology are seeking a Web Designer for our market leading client based in Rotherham.

You will be responsible for the design and front end development of the company's website, ensuring online presence provides an engaging and functional UX.

The main responsibilities of the role are:

*Assist the Web Design Manager and support the wider teams in day to day design and production of the company's marketing activities.

*Take a design brief from initial concept right trough to final deliverable creating mockups, listening to feedback from key stakeholders and making adjustments.

*Develop the websites to retain more customers making the experience customer friendly.

*Frontend Design and Development including coordinating with internal development team and other teams to build functionality and content.

*Knowledge of SEO strategies to generate new traffic and analyse the user experience within the site.

*Work closely with Marketing, Design and IT Departments.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

*Proficient using Adobe Photoshop and UX principles.

*Knowledge of Visual Studio, JavaScript, .Net MVC & version control working with CMS.

*Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and the Bootstrap framework

*Understanding of responsive design / cross browser and cross platform compatibility

*Previous experience with A/B testing and Google Analytics

*Previous web design experience
