Cyber Security Consultant - Full or Part Time | £45-65K
£45,000 - £65,000 depending on experience, plus share options
A well-respected and rapidly growing NCSC Certified Cyber Security Consultancy is seeking an additional Security Consultant.
The successful candidate will initially work in a busy team in central Glasgow, where we provide a managed security service to a major client. A willingness to work more widely within the UK would be an advantage.
Cyber Security Consultant Responsibilities will include:
+ Providing security advice and support to projects delivering new technical solutions, whilst mindful of internal policy, legal and regulatory requirements, ISO 27001 and NIST standards and controls
+ Assessing and communicating cyber security risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
+ Proposing cost effective and proportionate controls to address those risks
+ A current (or recently lapsed) UK SC clearance (Essential).
+ At least 2 years' experience (Essential) or 5 years' experience (Desirable) in cyber security consultancy, preferably in risk management and security policy focussed roles.
+ Certification as a Practitioner or Senior Practitioner in the CCP scheme (Desirable).
+ Evidence of being able to understand technical vulnerabilities and attack vectors, and communicate these to a range of stakeholders.
Candidates will be expected to have the experience and "soft skills" to understand a customer's requirements and help them to improve their organisational security, backed up with the technical cyber experience to advise them on security architecture, governance, compliance, policy and legal/regulatory requirements.
