A digital agency in Leeds which specialises in software and website development is looking for a PHP developer to join their team. Set up by a team of 3 Directors whose routes are founded in some of the UK's largest agencies, the client is taking digital innovation with a hands-on 'customer first' approach to the next level.

Expanding rapidly due to recent contract wins, they are currently looking for a talented PHP Developer to join the team.

What you'll be doing;

*Working as part of a dedicated project team, building, enhancing and improving large scale software solutions.

*Liaising with clients regarding project requirements (the project manager will be the main point of contact for clients but the wider team will be involved at times)

*Providing supporting technical documentation where applicable.

*Ensuring projects are delivered on time, and to a high standard.

*Attending and contributing to daily/weekly project updates with the wider project team.

*Working with a modern MVC e.g. Symfony 2/3/4 or Laravel.

*Using ORMs (doctrine2).

*Working with systems including Redis /Memcache and CI systems (jenkins).

Things we'd like to see;

*We are hiring for two PHP development roles and therefore the role is open to any applicants with 2+ years of experience.

*Someone who is comfortable working on large projects for long periods of time.

*You will need a proactive attitude to help drive project technologies and suggest new ideas and improvements.

*Comfortable working with LAMP and LEMP stack.

*Knowledge of version control systems (SVN and GIT).

*Knowledge of package managers such as composer or NPM (experience of publishing your own package would be ideal).

*Good working knowledge of ubuntu and command line Linux.

*Javascript knowledge is a bonus.
