The University of Manchester is seeking to make a step change in our development, deployment and understanding of business intelligence and this role is critical in driving this agenda. You will lead the "joining up" of distributed resources in this area, grow organisational capability, and inspire new ways of thinking.

Drawing on significant leadership skills and experience of working with complex data sets, you will drive a range of agendas including standardisation, simplification, automation and self-service, and visualisation, all driven from the "big questions" facing the University. You will be an experienced practitioner in both translating data into insight, managing performance and guiding the decision making of senior leaders.
