My client is a market leader for English courses and one of the pioneers in the
language travel industry. My client operates a network of schools in English speaking countries.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Marketing Manager you will be responsible for driving regional marketing initiatives in Europe notably in France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Spain. Your primary mission will be to develop country specific integrated marketing strategies in-line with the company's strategic positioning and implement corresponding campaigns to reach lead and revenue targets, drive growth and raise brand awareness.
The successful candidate will be a strong brand advocate within and outside of the company, who is extremely passionate about the product and the difference it makes to our customer's lives. Pro-active, team player and committed to the business objectives, you will exceed expectations in your region and start managing a team as time goes on.
You will also be involved in the definition of the global marketing strategy and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders constructively to take the business to the next level
Responsibilities
. Define and implement local marketing strategies to drive qualified leads for sales teams and
Be accountable for and monitor channel-level performance in each market, including but not
. Collaborate with sales teams and agent teams to streamline and coordinate marketing actions
raise brand awareness
limited to PPC, SEO, social media, content marketing, PR, emailing and offline marketing
campaigns
Liaise with agencies to translate generate localised content and adapt the strategy to the local
culture
Optimise and update websites in different languages, working closely with the E-commerce
and Digital Product Manager, the Product Manager and content writer freelancers
Understand the macro- and micro-environments in each market and our relative competitive
advantage to deliver superior value to customers and continuously improve performance
. Report on performance and be ROI-minded
. Extensively participate to the definition of the marketing strategy and content strategy
. Support of the Head of Marketing with various tasks and projects and the leadership team in
general communication matters
Manage interns or marketing executives when the team will grow
Requirements of Field Marketing Manager
Bachelors/Masters in IT, E-Commerce, Digital Marketing or any related field
·3-5 years
.Proven success managing high growth marketing strategies
. Broad and in-depth understanding of the (digital) marketing spectrum
. Experience managing PPC, SEO and social media campaigns
experience in a similar role ideally in a lead generation environment
Experience with CRM systems and emailing
Fluency in either French, German or Italian
Experience reporting with web analytics platform such as Google analytics
Understanding of marketing principles, notably competition analysis and market segmentation
Experience with Content Management Systems (ideally Drupal)
High affinity for digital marketing: Interest in being always up-to-date and proactive about
testing and implementing new channels
. Motivated, flexible, communicative, team- and goal-oriented personality
