Network Engineer / Reading / 4 Months Contract / £401 pd

Spring Technology are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our leading Clients

The client are looking for an experienced Network Engineer with strong experience with SDWAN/IWAN and Meraki.

This is a 4 month contract initially.

The Network Consultant should be able to take the role of Subject Matter Expert in

technical project deliverables and be responsible for end-to-end solution implementation. The candidate should have sufficient networking experience to tightly cooperate with other work streams

Role experience

*Have 8+ years of network security experience working with major LAN/ WAN/ WLAN platforms (Cisco, Meraki, etc.).

*Have a deep and strong knowledge of networking, with special focus on routing protocols - EIGRP, OSPF, route-manipulation, route-redistribution, etc. CCIE (or equivalent) is a must.

*Have prior experience with deployment and management of SD-WAN platforms - Cisco Intelligent WAN & Meraki-SDWAN

*Have a good understanding of Cisco overlay technologies such as IPSec, DMVPN, GRE.

*Be flexible for business trips to attend meetings or workshops & perform remote site installation.

*Have good verbal communication skills (English) in both technical and non-technical communications.

*Have good experience creating design documents (HLD, LLD) diagrams (Visio) and presentations (PPT)

*Have good analytical mindset for problem solving under stress and time pressure.
