A rapidly expanding Global Gaming Technology Company who design and manufacture innovative gaming controllers for PC and consoles is looking for an Electronic Engineer to join its team in Cheltenham.You will work on a range of exciting projects and be responsible for designing components for new products, product line extensions and the upgrading of current products.
As an Electronic Engineer, your daily duties will include:
Performing electronic design activates as directed.
Preparing design documents to describe the designed components sufficient to procure or manufacture.
Compiling and performing tests on designed components and systems.
Conducting reviews of new product designs.
Working with Manufacturing/Operations to resolve issues or incorporate improvements related to product design.
To be a successful Electronic Engineer, you will have the following skills and experiences:
Extensive experience in a similar role.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering field or equivalent.
USB/HID interface experience.
Proficiency in Schematic capture, PCB layout and generation of BoMs Flexi rigid PCBs using Altium Designer.
Experience with integrated sensor systems.
Embedded Firmware experience (CSR and Freescale preferred) is desirable but is not essential.
Bluetooth experience.
Understanding of plastic injection moulds is desirable but not essential.
The ability to take designed products thought qualification for CE marking and FCC compliance.
The ability to read, analyse, and interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations and to adapt to company standards regulation.
In return, the successful Engineer will receive a salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, plus benefits.
