Drowning is a silent epidemic, claiming hundreds of thousands of lives every year across the globe, and hundreds in the UK. Our client is committed to breaking the ‘drowning chain', preventing unnecessary deaths on or around the water via a range of interventions. They can reduce drowning...with your help. As the Business Intelligence Manager, you will take on a key leadership role, establishing a team to develop enterprise BI solutions that will help the organisation drive and manage its delivery. You will lead a team of developers and analysts, inspiring them to deliver quality information to support our client in making decisions that are grounded in high quality evidence. You will use your skills at presenting information to influence senior leaders both within and outside of the organisation. You will be an expert at translating stakeholder requirements into a roadmap of insight dashboards and self-service solutions, guiding development of best practice in enterprise data consistency and user-interfaces. You will need an understanding of information software and be able to create stories with data. You'll be responsible for managing BI deliveries to time and quality, ensuring agreement of robust Key Performance Indicators, and managing performance and usage of BI platforms. If you are an experienced data leader looking to make a difference, our client would like to meet you! To be considered, you will need: - Experience of BI operations at a senior level
- Previous experience of operating in large-scale IT delivery programmes
- Experience of leading a team delivering MI/BI
- A good understanding of technology and BI techniques
- Training in one or more Business Intelligence Platforms
- A degree level qualification Ideally, you'll have a data modelling qualification or the willingness to gain this, but this isn't essential.
