Solutions Architect | 6 months | £500 a day | Leeds

My client is an industry leader in their field, and due to product growth they now require an Architect.

You will be expected to be able to lead change, and thrive in a dynamic and pressurised environment.

Profile

* The person we are looking for will;

* Have a strong knowledge of architecting technology solutions

* Have worked in a complex and high integrated environment

* Be able to act as the design authority working with the tech teams

Environment

The technical environment is complex with a dependency on customer facing web based applications and systems integration.

Technology

The technologies stack includes .Net, Oracle, SOLR / MongoDB, SQL, Azure, QlikView, Business Objects and 3rd party packages.

Responsibilities

* Lead technical design, architectural principles and design patterns

* Review business requirements to recommend technical solutions

* Design solution architecture for business / customers

* Produce documentation and support the development & testing process

* Provide architectural guidance to the project

* Review vendor proposals to meet delivery expectations

* Work closely with business, project and IT development teams to aid the process of development and delivery

* Work closely with business architect on concepts and contribute to business cases

* Managing, planning and monitoring the progress of product for testing

* Contribute in all phases of the product development lifecycle

* Identifying issues, assessing their impact and pro-actively developing and recommending technical product development

You will have experience of:

* TFS or equivalent task management system

* .NET, Analytics, SEO, SQL Server, Oracle, F5 load balancing

* Architecting product development, e-commerce nd design standards

* Full life cycle of design, analysis, development and testing

* Working in an Agile environment

Length: 6 months

Rate: £500 a day

Location: Leeds
