Business Intelligence Consultant - Home-Based UK Wide

Nigel Frank is currently recruiting for a rapidly-expanding MS Technology Consultancy who have a range of projects live across England and Wales and have grown their team considerably over the past year.

You'll be working across the full project lifecycle as part of a highly specialised and talented team of MS BI experts, using the full on-premise MS BI Stack (SSRS, SSIS and SSAS) as well as the Azure cloud platform (Azure SQL Warehouse, Data Factory, Data Lake and Power BI). You'll also be involved in R+D and advising your clients on SQL Server best practices, emerging technologies and project support.

You'll be travelling to client sites predominantly based around England and Wales (some are further afield), with other time with other time spent working from home (around 50/50 split), so a full driving licence and the flexibility to have some overnight stays is essential (all expenses are paid when going to client site).

This role would particularly suit someone who has worked in BI Development and is looking to make their first step into BI Consultancy, or someone who has had a year or so of consultancy experience.

Key skills include:

- Expert in BI Development on the SQL 2012/2014 Stack, SSRS, SSIS and SSAS

- Experience in Power BI Development

- Experience in working with Azure PaaS technologies (Data Factory, Data Lake, Streaming Analytics, CosmosDB or Azure SQL Warehouse) is highly desirable

- Expertise in SQL Server Deployment, Configuration and Management

MCSA/MCSE in SQL 2014 and above is highly desirable.

This is a permanent role, offering a competitive salary of up to £60,000, plus pension, MS Certification training, Car Allowance and all expenses paid while travelling.
